Knowledge Department is a service company in the field of software development.
The services include training, software development and consulting.

Knowledge Department has offices in Germany (Nuremberg and Berlin), England (London), France (Paris) and the USA. Our customers are from all those industry sectors that demand high-quality software, e.g. automotive, mechanical engineering and mechatronics, public administration, finance or medical engineering.

Knowledge Department was founded by qualified experts that are dedicated to “software quality” and who made “quality” the main theme for all services provided. Specific know how is offered for improving the software development process according to CMMI®, SPICE, Automotive SPICE™, SPICE for Banking and MediSPICE, as well as software testing, e.g. the accredited ISTQB certified tester courses.

Representatives of Knowledge Department actively participate in a variety of special interest groups in the software engineering space and support the common goal of high quality and reliable software.

For all employees of Knowledge Department the main motto is: Quality is our Passion!

Knowledge Department is a founding member of “gasq“, the “Global Association for Software Quality“, an international, non-profit association for software quality. Knowledge Department employees engage in the development of the ISTQB Certified Tester, the international certification programme for software tester, since its beginning more than seven years ago. Honorary voluntary work and the takeover of social responsibility are an important task for knowledge department.

Knowledge Department is a competent and active partner in various national and international research projects.
