The ISTQB® Certified Tester is a world wide commonly used standard in the field of Software Testing. Hundreds of experts from more than 40 countries are currently working on that scheme. The program is internationally comparable because of the international set-up. That is almost unique for such a certification program. Thus it is possible to take the same examination in different languages. By now more than 55.000 certificates are accepted.
By becoming an ISTQB® certified tester, you will distinguish yourself as someone who knows how to use software testing techniques. You can design, plan and implement audits and tests. Furthermore you are able to evaluate risks concerning business processes.
As an ISTQB® Certified Tester you know the fundamental test terms and all norms and standards relevant for tests. You know how to create significant error messages, how to control the error-correction process and how to plan, organize and administer reviews. Additionally you can choose the best test tools and you know what you have to keep in mind when you administer those tools.
The knowledge and techniques which are introduced during the training will enable a structured and systematic testing process. As a consequence, the quality of your software will improve and costs will be reduced.
